A press release issued by the band, reads as follows: "Chiseled from brimstone with a pillar of fire, Nephesh arises from the abyssal equator after years of forging their tempered steel. Breathing life into a weathered metal art form, the best of black metal-esque surprises abound. With a sound larger than life and the ammo to back it up, Nephesh unfolds before us a darkened tapestry smeared black of war, desperation, fear, struggle, death, and triumph. To hell with the likes of Dimmu Borgir, Dark Funeral, and Deicide, enter the grandiose creative expressions of Nephesh. Solid craftsmanship, top-notch production, bold lyrical prose, inspiring epic proportions, and knock-out packaging, as expected from Nokternal Hemizphear, make "Inter Armas Silent Leges" the unsuspected release of 2009! Those who crave the symphonic metal exploits of Satyricon, Dimmu Borgir, Dark Funeral, Divine Symphony, Grave Declaration, Antestor, and Keep Of Kalessin look no further. In the end, it is a matter of letting Nephesh do the growling... the result is assured..."

Cyanosis - Ink Deal With Rotting Corpse Records

Death/Grind metallers Cyanosis have inked a deal with Rotting Corpse Records. The group's upcoming new album, "Murderology 101: Fascination with Eradication", is tentatively due in early 2010. This is the follow-up to 2008's full-length release, "Conceiving Abhorrence".

Vocalist/guitarist Al Andrews states the following: "We would like to thank Ron, Lori, and all at Rottting Corpse Records for this opportunity. We are super stoked at having a US based label, especially one so close to us (in Chicago), and one that is SO DAMN DOWN TO EARTH AND SUPPORTIVE!! We have great respect for the other bands on Rotting Corpse Records, and think we will be a great addition to an already impressive roster, this label is a force to be on lookout for-2010 will be the year of Rotting Corpse Records and the ultra pummeling tri-headed brutality that is uncompromisingly Cyanosis!"

Forgotten Tears - Recording Debut Full-Length

Italian melodic death metal/hardcore act Forgotten Tears recently uploaded the first two webisodes of the making of their forthcoming debut album "Words To End". They recently entered Fear Studio in Ravenna (Italy) to record the drums and, a few days ago, finished recording guitar parts at FT Studios in Lecco (Italy).

Singer, Faust, commented: "The album will be hopefully ready in a couple of months, then we will be looking for a good record label willing to pubblish and distribuite the album internationally." He adds: "We worked hard searching for the perfect compromise between our already evident European melodic death metal attitude and the newest wave of modern hardcore. I believe that this album will satisfy the appetite of all fans of the upgrowing modern metal, deathcore and hardcore scene. We really can't wait to share the new songs with our fans during our next live shows."

Mass Murder Inc. Booking Agency is already planning an European mini-tour for the next spring that will involve few shows in Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany and Slovenia.

Further news will follow very soon.

Eluveitie - Recording New Material

Swiss metallers Eluveitie have issued the following update on their MySpace blog:

"Hails everybody!

Some of you might have heard some rumours about it already... and it's true, we're heavily working on our new album!
Since since 2,5 weeks already we're in the studio, recording our next sword blow. Drums and most of the guitars are already nailed!

And as yet we are really, really satisfied. I mean really! We've decided to record our upcoming album in the famous Swiss Newsound studios, owned and run by none lesser than Coroner mastermind Tommy Vetterli (also ex-Kreator and former live guitarist of Vodoo Cult)!

And so far it is hell of a pleasure to work with him, engeneering and recording the album! It's great to profit of his enormeous experience (both, as producer/engeneer, as well as musician) on one hand, but also to work and have a good time with him as a very likeable and down-to-earth guy on the other hand.

And judging after how the so far recorded tracks sound, this album will definitely cleave your heads open!

The album will be mixed by the british soundforge god Colin Richardson (Behemoth, Machine Head, Kreator, Sepultura, Carcass, Slipknot, As I Lay Dying, Trivium and many more).

And this brings me to the next thing to mention: Yes, after an acoustic release we're thoroughly up for a massive metal album again! So "Evocation I" kinda became the well known "calm before the storm".

Some of the songs on this album I began to write quite a long time ago, some others developped in a very short time during the last couple of months. All in all I think that this album becomes our most dark and severe release so far - brimmed with mystical, convoluted and partly insanely fast celtic folk melody lines, but at the same time with pure, juggernautish metal. The album's probably more "metal" than any other release we did so far.

So stay tuned!

I wish all of you some great and pleasant autum weeks! We'll be back with more news in a while... but for now I have to go "back to work" and prepare some angry and nasty vocal recordings.

Cheers from the studio.

Chrigel."
