Darzamat - Andy La Rocque To Work With The Band

Darzamat has started recording of it's fifth album entitled "Transkarpatia". After having put tracks in Poland, the band hit Sweden to have its material mixed and mastered by a great producer - Andy La Rocque (the guitar player of the cult band King Diamond and ex-member of Death).

"I am very glad Andy agreed to cooperate with Darzamat. Producing the album in a place (Los Angered Studio in Goeteborg) where such groups like In Flames, Evergrey and King Diamond worked on their masterpieces, is an honor. I expect the best from our cooperation."- comments Flauros.

''Transkarpatia'' will come out at the beginning of the next year. The album will be released by Metal Mind Productions.

Kataklysm - Singer to Write Autobiography

Kataklysm singer Maurizio Iacono to write autobiography book of Kataklysm for the band's 15th anniversary!!

"Well I've been thinking about it for a long time during the last few years, especially when I'm on tour and all the band memebers of other bands are like "Dude we had no idea about the shit you guys been through"... We would talk about fun things and sad things all night long over beers and alcohol, they would always tell me "Dude you should write a book" and I always said maybe one day. So what better time then now? Next year will mark the band's 15th anniversary and I'm damn proud of what we've achieved. For some it ain't much but for me it's everything, so I decided to set the record straight on EVERYTHING. I really got convinced last week when mags from Europe were in town listening to my new album and then we had a BBQ at my house. The day before they left and again, the same thing: "Bro, put that shit in a book! Do it!"... So ok fuck it, let's do it. I talked to Nuclear Blast about it, they said let's go for it. So next year sometime... "Kataklysm / The Northern Hyperblast: uncut" book will be released. I've been writing for the past few days and this is really exciting... So stay tuned for more details.

In other news, Kataklysm have secured the co-headliner position for the No Mercy Festivals tour in Europe held next March. Some shows in the Quebec area are also planned for December.

Kataklysm's new album "In the Arms of Devastation" is currently being mixed in Denmark by acclaimed producer Tue Madsen.

Nasum - "Grind Finale" Slightly Delayed

Nasum drummer Anders Jakobson has posted the following message on the band's official website:

"I'm unhappy to announce that "Grind Finale" will be slightly delayed due to printing issues. I don't have the exact details, but apparently the printer sent the wrong templates for the artwork to Relapse, resulting in a complete set of artwork in the wrong size, so the Relapse guys have all worked this over and corrected everything according to the right templates, resulting in a slight delay in the release.

There are a lot of time, love and energy invested in this release already and we are certainly not going to damage all that with a bad printing, so we all just have to face the fact and wait a little longer for the release.

The new release dates are as follows:
USA: November 15
Europe: November 21
Japan: During November

I still haven't got the exact date for the Japanese release but right this moment George Seki of Howling Bull is translating the whole 80 page booklet to Japanese (the only bonus they will get)...

Again I'm sorry for the delay. This is not ours or Relapse's fault, we should all just blame a clumsy printer who also happens to lack a lot of servicemindness, being a lazy ass bastard! Hehe! So just wait for it a little longer, OK?"
