Nightwish have announced that they are working on their ninth studio album, scheduled for 2020 release. At the same time, a statement from long-time drummer Jukka Nevalainen has been posted, revealing news of his departure. In 2014 Jukka decided to stop all live and studio activities due insomnia problems. Currently, he has barely any issues to deal with, however, he decided to step down and leave the band. Current live drummer Kai Hahto will step in.

The very first releases - the first full-length album: The Haunting Nightare as well as an EP entitled Inanna's Descent Into The Underworld are available for streaming on the YouTube channel as well as Spotify.
