Horisont - Sign With Century Media, To Enter Studio

On the eve of their 10 year anniversary, Swedish hard rock band Horisont have announced the next chapter of their career by putting pen to paper and confirming a worldwide deal with Century Media Records. After releasing their fourth full length album entitled Odyssey in late 2015, Horisont are busy writing its follow up and plan to enter the studio this summer and unleash another album.

Blut Aus Nord - Working On Two Albums, Introduce Yərû?əlem

Apart from their upcoming split with Ævangelist, Codex Obscura Nomina, French metallers Blut Aus Nord are working on two different albums scheduled for next year: Memoria Vetusta - Empyreus and La Lumière Sous Le Monde. So, there is no shortage of new material. In the meantime, Vindsval (Blut Aus Nord) and Bjarni Einarsson (Sinmara, Slidhr) are also working on the first Yərû?əlem album.

Intronaut - Announce European Tour

Good news for the European fans of Intronaut. The American metallers just announced their first European tour in almost three years in support of The Direction Of Last Things. They are co-headlining with Norway's Shining (NOR) and support comes from Spain's Obsidian Kingdom, along with a stop at Euroblast Festival XII 2016 as well. There are still a few dates coming in, so stay tuned for more.

Third Ion - To Release New Album, Share Preview

Progressive metallers Third Ion have confirmed a July 8th, 2016 release date for Biolith, their new record, on Glasstone Records. This will be the first album to feature new lead vocalist, Dave Padden. The band features former members of Devin Townsend, Into Eternity, and Annihilator. Temples Festival 2016 - Cancelled

If you were going to attend Temples Festival 2016, we have bad news to share. The U.K. festival set to take place in June has just been cancelled despite the previous band announcements. According to their lengthy statement, the fest is cancelled due to lack of funding after they were left with debt following Temples 2015. Ticket refunds are available, of course.

HammerFall - Studio Update

Earlier this year, HammerFall joined the Napalm Records family for their upcoming, 10th studio album. it's been almost 20 years since they recorded their debut, Glory To The Brave. Well, the good news is that the power metallers are currently in the studio forging new material. Iskra - Announce Tour And 'Ruins' CD Version

Canadian black metal unit Iskra has teamed up with Southern Lord for the CD release of their latest LP, Ruins. Southern Lord will issue Ruins on digipak CD including a twenty-page booklet with lyrics and liner notes on July 1st. Iskra also announced the Anarchy Attack... Canadian Destruction (Storming the Atlantic) Summer Tour of Canada, their first major tour of Canada since 2004. This tour will mark their first coast to coast tour of the country and includes five days in the maritime provinces. The tour also features appearances at Spider Fest (formerly Spider Acres) in Meyersburg, Ontario and Evil Fest in Sainte-Angele-de-Merici, Quebec.

Five Finger Death Punch - Sign With Rise Records

While they are still involved in a legal battle with Prospect Park Records which sued them, Five Finger Death Punch already have a new label deal. Rise Records have announced the signing of the group to a North American recording deal. The first album with Rise Records will be released following the completion of Five Finger Death Punch's obligation to its current label.
