The Vision Bleak - New Album Update, Announce Live Bassist

The Vision Bleak have been pretty busy this year working on the follow-up to 2013's album Witching Hour. The band recently shared an update regarding the album progress and also announced a live bassist for their future shows. Their good friend, heart and soul of Les Discrets and director of their "The Wood Hag" video, Fursy Teyssier, has joined their ranks to support future The Vision Bleak concerts on his bass guitar.

Usurpress - Join Agonia Records, Releasing New Album

Usurpress will have more death metal to offer next year when they release their third album. The quartet from Uppsala, Sweden signed a deal with Agonia Records and recorded their 3rd album, entitled The Regal Tribe, during the fall of 2015 under the supervision of producer Lawrence Mackrory (F.K.Ü., Darkane, etc). Its release date has been slated for 2016.

Skid Row - Singer Tony Harnell Out Of The Band

It seems like Skid Row are changing singers once again. The veteran hard rockers replaced Johny Solinger with Tony Harnell (TNT, Starbreaker) earlier this year but it didn't last very long. According to him, he quit the band and wasn't fired. But what happened exactly? The Skid Row camp has yet to comment on the situation.

Tourniquet - Part Ways With Vocalist Luke Easter

Luke Easter has been the singer of U.S. thrashers Tourniquet since 1993. However, the group has now announced the split with the frontman. "By mutual and respectful agreement," Luke Easter has stepped down as vocalist of the band. The band's latest album, Antiseptic Bloodbath, came out in 2012 but the band has been working on new songs. So, maybe they are preparing a new release?

Nervosa - To Record New Album

Brazilian thrashers Nervosa are about to record their new album! This will be their second album and follow-up to the acclaimed Victim Of Yourself debut. The band will travel in January 2016 to the United States, where the entire process will take place. The first stage will happen at the renowned studio The Foundation, owned by Sylvia Massy (who has worked with bands like Exodus, System Of A Down, Tool, among others) in the city of Ashland, Oregon, where all the drums will be recorded.

Theocracy - Releasing New Album, Share Preview

A new Theocracy album? It is finally happening! The successor of As The World Bleeds (2011) will be released next year through Ulterium Records and original drummer Shawn Benson recorded the drums on the prog/power metallers highly anticipated fourth album. Former drummer Patrick Nickell quit Theocracy last November. As a taste of what's to come, the American band has also recently shared previews of the new songs including demos from the upcoming album.

Kartikeya - New Album Release Postponed

Russian metallers Kartikeya have pushed back the release of their new album once again. Samudra, their third and the first in the elemental pentalogy series, was originally set to be released on October 1st, 2015 and later postponed to December 25th via Arsafes Records. But now the release has been postponed again "due to technical and personal difficulties." Fans who wanted to hear the follow-up to Mahayuga will have to wait a little longer.
