Structure Of Inhumanity - Check Out The New Video

US Melodic Death/Power Metal band Structure Of Inhumanity - featuring in its ranks members from Pyramaze, Arsis and Suspyre - are debuting the Scott Hansen directed video for the song "The Ruin" taken from their upcoming debut album Completion Integration.

The band was formed in 2005 by Jonah Weingarten (keyboardist known for Pyramaze and Lilitu), as part of his vision for creating a unique sounding blend of melodic death, progressive rhythms, powerful heavy metal, and cinematic orchestration. Joined by Noah Martin (bass/growls - from Arsis), Clay Barton (clean vox - from Suspyre), guitarists Mike Iuzzolino and Brandon Ellis as well as drummer Gabriel Marshall (Suspyre), Jonah recorded the album together with James Murphy (Testament, Death, Obituary) and Peter Wichers (Soilwork, Warrel Dane). Murphy is also mixing and mastering the album.

In early 2010 the band shot two videos for the album, of which "The Ruin" is the first one to be shown in public.

At the moment the band is looking for a record deal for the release of Completion Integration. Cover artwork can be viewed here.

Commented Structure Of Inhumanity mainman Jonah W: "We are thrilled with director Scott Hansen's interpretation of the song, he really knocked this one out of the park. In addition to the outstanding musical production skills of Peter Wichers and James Murphy, and of course James' slamming mix and master."

More info about the band on MySpace.

Samael - New Track Online

Samael want to give their fans a taste of what's to come with their Antigod EP and the upcoming studio album. You can check out the track "Antigod" at this location.

The Antigod EP will be out on November 19th as a digital download exclusive, while the band's next album is due in 2011.

Samael vocalist Vorphalack comments: "Here's the song we chose to give you a taste of our new album. Sound wise, "Antigod" stands between the up-tempo tracks and ultra heavy ones of our new recordings. As for the lyrics, we've expressed our views on the religious matter before but with this track, we made our position clearer than with any previous song. "Antigod" doesn't resume the whole album but it gives you a good idea of what's about to come... "

Neuromist - Line-Up Changes

Kirill Zmurciuk, guitarist and founding member of Moldovan progressive death metal band Neuromist, has announced the departure of their drummer and vocalist. Here's the full message:

"Without any introduction I will get straight to the point - we have yet another line-up changes. Both Mihail Grigorash and Vladimir Ghilien have left the band a few months ago for personal and very positive reasons. Both are waiting for their wives to give birth to their children, and that's very good news for us. Guys simply don't have the time to focus on music so they decided to leave the band. All we can say is good luck for their families that will get bigger very soon

As for our little family, we are glad to announce our new/old drummer - Serghei "Liolik" Petrenco. Those of you who have seen us supporting Sadist in Chisinau on 30th of October already know that the founding drummer is back in the fold and he's kicking some serious ass behind the kit. He has agreed to stay with us permanently after this show, and we're very excited about it since he's a real pro and there's not doubt that our music will get even more technical and aggressive with him joining us. So, welcome back to the family!

As for the vocalist, we didn't find a permanent replacement yet, but we're looking for it. We've been joined by former vocalist Laur Lozan for the show and had a little collaboration with Lena from Infected Rain for one song. It turned our killer, but it was just a single show. So if anyone is intrested in becoming a full-time frontman for a band where all other dudes are constantly looking at their instruments - give us a note."

Septicflesh - Completes Recording New Album

Greek demons Septicflesh just finished recording the successor of 2008's Communion. After a long period of intense work in Athens, Prague and Sweden, the evolution of the band's Symphonic Death sound has been achieved with the help of the Filmharmonic Orchestra of Prague and well known artist/producer Peter Tägtgren.

130 musicians were involved in the recording process. Besides the traditional classic orchestra instruments, this time Septicflesh incorporated harpsichord, some bizarre ethnic instruments and a boy soprano to their sound, pursuing a more "horror soundtrack" approach. Of course, the guitars will still shred you to death!

The release of the forthcoming 10-song album is expected for the first quarter of 2011. In the meantime, a brand new song will be available worldwide as an exclusive digital download single from this December 17th on. So keep your eyes on this site for updates!

Aeon - Original Drummer Returns

Swedish death metallers Aeon have released the following press statement:

"As you all may know, we have been searching for a new drummer since early September this year. We have gotten a great deal of drummer-applicants from various countries. Some of them where really awesome drummers, to say the least. We would like to take the opportunity to thank every single one of you for showing interest and sending us drum-videos of you playing our songs etc. Thank you so much and good luck with your future endeavors.

Without really thinking about it, the best solution for us was lurking around the corner. Arttu Malkki, our first original drummer (1999-2002) has during the last year been showing interest in playing faster death-metal once more. After his departure from Aeon back in 2002, Arttu has mainly been playing in heavier/slower metal bands Sanctification, The Equinox Ov The Gods and Souldrainer, ed.].

A couple of weeks ago, we saw him perform a show with our buddies Sanctification and we where really, really impressed with Arttu's "fast-drumming" comeback. Later on, Arttu asked us if we wanted to jam a couple of songs with him just to see what it would feel like. So we did, and it sounded massive! We decided to give it another shot, and once again we played songs like "Living Sin", "Soulburner", "God Gives Head", "Hel-el Ben Shachar", "Spreading Their Disease", among others and this hard-hitting drum-monster makes us sound really massive.

Both we and Arttu felt that this was just so right and we decided to once again be bandmates.

Besides the obvious fact that Arttu is a killer drummer, he is also an original, founding member of the band and goes way back with Tommy and Zeb from the pre-Aeon era in "Defaced Creation". Another detail that made Arttu our final choice is that he lives in the same city as we do, and this is a major plus. Now we can take on every single gig/tour we want to. This without having a drummer in another city or country even, that we need to fly over etc.

I remember when he first left us back in 2002 and Nils replaced him, the one thing that i missed about Arttu the most was his hard hitting and brutal drum-sound. Even if Nils is a more technical drummer, Arttu has some other qualities that suited us really well in its own way. Needless to say, they are both amazing drummers.

So we will now be spending the next couple of months rehearsing songs/setlists and after that, we will take on shows & eventually some tours if the right offers lands on the table. We are all truly exited about being a complete band once again and being able to make things really happened has never felt more possible than now.

Urgehal - Two Tracks Available For Streaming

Norwegian black metallers Urgehal are streaming two new tracks, called "Death Is Complete" and "Beyond The Nightmare" at their official MySpace page.

Added the band: "The two new added tracks are taken from the upcoming 7" which is a tribute to old dirty fucking Black Metal. The reason for the sloppy drumming on the song "Death Is Complete" is that Trondr Nefas did it himself after not having played drums on a regular basis since '97. These two songs are staying here for a short while and the necro release is due after "Happy New Year". So just drop dead or fuck off!"

Go check out the two songs of pure primitive hell here.
