Entwine - Recording New Album
The following message has been posted on the official Entwine website :
"The band is currently in the middle of recording their yet untitled 5th full-lenght album due to release August 23rd 2006. The plan is to record 13 songs, 12 of them being new as there will be a re-make of "Break Me". However, the forthcoming album will probably include 11 songs. New Entwine hymns were put together at record speed, during only just few weekends, due to busy schedules of members. Gladly, this doesn't affect the quality at all, in fact the boys and a girl agree that the songs sound very promising indeed. Well, we'll hear about that in few months.
Certain is that the team hassling around the record know what they're doing. The album is being recorded at Petrax and Groveland studios by Entwine's very own drummer boy Aksu Hanttu who is nowadays very much employed in the field. Producer guy Janne Joutsenniemi is known to many from the ranks of legendary Stone and latterly Sub Urban Tribe. The tracks will be mixed in the subtle care of Finnvox's Mikko Karmila who is highly appreciated for his work with Nightwish, Children Of Bodom, and many others. Mastering is probably going to take place at Stockholm's Cutting Room.
Recordings have been going really well so far and knowing these guys, with couple of relaxing evening beers of course. Mika is currenty working on his vocal parts. view studio pictures]"

Dissection - New Video Online
Dissection's new video for the track "Starless Aeon" has been posted online here. The track comes off their forthcoming new album, Reinkaos.
About the unique video (made by Magnus Göthlund and Jim Heneghan - Speedsled Films), singer and guitarist Jon Nödtveidt says, "For the making of the video to "Starless Aeon", the first song from Reinkaos to become visual, Dissection explore a special filming technique, shooting scenes backwards, with the band literally having to perform their music and sing the lyrics backwards. The filmed sequences have then ultimately been reversed again, with an original backwards sequence playing forwards in sync with the album version of the song. The visual result appears rather sick and disturbing, and like the rest of the video, very dark."

AC/DC - Video Posted Online
Original AC/DC singer Dave Evans' official web site has been updated with the video for AC/DC's "Can I Sit Next To You Girl" single. You can watch it here.
"Can I Sit Next To You Girl", featuring Dave Evans on vocals, was AC/DC's debut single. The clip was recorded around May 1974 for release on Australian national TV. It was taped at The Last Picture Show venue in Cronulla, Sydney, which was originally a movie theater before it became a rock venue. All the top acts, including AC/DC, would play there.
AC/DC had originally been a jeans-and-t-shirt type band, and to coincide with the release of the single, it was agreed that the band would wear some outrageous costumes ? including Angus with his schoolboy uniform ? to catch the attention of the industry and the fans.
AC/DC began a national tour just after filming the "Can I Sit Next To You Girl" video and backed up Lou Reed on a few shows in Melbourne and Adelaide.
"Can I Sit Next to You Girl" was voted the best Australian single of 1974.

Angtoria - The Band Will Record Their First Video
Angtoria to record video for title track "God Has A Plan For Us All"
Angtoria will soon start filming their first music video as a part of the
worldwide promotion for their album due to be released on Listenable Records
April 27th.
The video will be filmed during 3 days at two different locations, and
director of the video is an upcoming and very talented swedish director who
has previously won awards for his work, Måns Berthas.
On April 19th Sarah, Dave Pybus (CoF) and Toni Davey (Dani's wife and album
cover model), will fly to Sweden to join Chris and Tommy and a yet to be
revealed drummer to shoot the video for the title track "God Has A Plan For
Us All".
The song is based around child abuse by a religious person, which in turn
leads the girl to madness because of years of mental torture through the
offender getting away with what he has done to her. Putting images to lyrics
like these is quite difficult without getting banned by every tv station,
but we will sure try to portray the lyrics in images as much as possible.
Chris´s young daughter Saga will play the child and Toni will obviously play
the girl as older. This is to show the deterioration from start to finish of
the girls life.
Wish us luck!

TRISTWOOD
Extreme Metal band from Austria combining the obscurity and speed of the Black Metal and the brutality of the Death Metal with the abysmal atmosphere of the Industrial, nothing have been as consistent as Tristwood to fusion of the variant of Extreme Metal with formidable precision, perfect symbioses and sophisticated metallic assault! Labeled as Apocalyptic Metal, a soundtrack for the end of the world! Of course, there are a few influences that recall the similarly bombastic of Behemoth, Aborym or yet Nile but they have more to offer. The band has improved a lot since their debut album, both the playing and musically with notable songwriting ability and lyrics well wrote. "The Delphic Doctrine" is a furious onslaught in 42 minutes. Global extermination is set to 21-04-2006!!!

INBORN SUFFERING
We are proud for have signed Inborn Suffering, this young and talented French band. They play a melodic and dark Doom Metal in the vein of the gods of the English Doom Metal. Their full-length album titled "Wordless Hope" features one hour of very well inspired orchestration in pure melancholy. It is full of beauty, sadness and sorrow where such fantastic symphonies can to be compared with classic albums like Anathema's "The Silent Enigma" and My Dying Bride's "Turn Loose the Swans". There is utterly mournful string arrangements wind around the slow Doom metal as well as some passages of violin, piano and female vocals were added perfectly. Of course, the vocals are deep and expressive grunts but sometimes spoken and sometimes-screamed vocals. This is wonderful masterpiece of Doom Metal like the former days. Wait for this album in middle of 2006. For more info, visit:
