Twisted Sister, now disbanded, has sued the promoter of last year's Rock Carnival festival, claiming the band has only been paid $50,000 of the $200,000 it was to receive for headlining one of the three nights at the Lakewood, New Jersey event. And they're not gonna take it. In court papers, promoter John D'Esposito and his company Rock N Festivals said they "suffered catastrophic economic losses" due to three days of heavy rain that weekend.

One of the biggest Argentinian metal bands, Rata Blanca, has posted some sad news. The band's bassist Guillermo "El Negro" Sánchez has died, after fighting for his life in the hospital. Guitarist Walter Giardino expressed in Spanish on the band's Facebook page his sadness about Guillermo's passing and how much he will be missed. R.I.P.

American rock legends KISS have been forced to cancel their Manchester concert that was scheduled for May 30th. The KISS concert is the latest to be canceled following the terror attack that took the lives of 22 people and injured dozens of others after an Ariana Grande concert on May 22nd. As a result, the venue remains closed.

Riff master Jon Schaffer, more known for his work in Iced Earth, has confirmed that he and vocalist Hansi Kürsch from Blind Guardian are working on a new Demons And Wizards album. The band released two albums so far, 1999's self-titled and later Touched By The Crimson King in 2005. The good news is that they are writing new songs but it might take some time to complete.
