Loudness - To Release 30th Anniversary Edition Of 'Thunder In The East' Album

Japanese metallers Loudness will release a special 30th anniversary edition of their classic album Thunder In The East in Japan on November 25th in several different versions featuring bonus DVDs with live footage from their 1985 U.S. tour, among other things.

Abbath - 7" Single On The Way

After sharing a new song recently, Abbath will release a seven-inch single, Count The Dead, on December 11th via Season Of Mist. This will be the first official release of the band led by former Immortal frontman Abbath Doom Occulta. The A-side features the title track, a new song, while the B-side consists of a cover version of the Judas Priest classic "Riding On The Wind". Count The Dead will be released in two versions, which are both limited to 500 copies worldwide.

Crematory - Enter The Studio

After recruiting two new guitarists, German gothic metallers Crematory have entered the Kohlekeller-Studios in September, to record their new studio album Monument, which will be released through Steamhammer/SPV, for their 25th anniversary, in the spring of 2016. This album will follow Antiserum and the group promises a return to their roots.

Zimmers Hole - To Play First Show In Six Years

Zimmers Hole, the speed/thrash metal project featuring guitarist Jed Simon and bassist Byron Stroud of Strapping Young Lad, will play its first show in six years on January 23rd, 2016 at the Rickshaw Theatre in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Overkill - Begin Work On New Material

Vocalist Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth of veteran New Jersey thrashers Overkill was recently interviewed and confirmed some good news. The thrash group is already writing new songs for their next album, the successor of White Devil Armory. Overkill are currently touring North America with Symphony X and have UK/Ireland tour dates set for 2016 as well as South American tour dates this December.

Danzig - Reveal Covers Album Artwork

Danzig will release his long-awaited covers record, Skeletons, in November via Evilive Music. The CD, which was recorded with Prong guitarist/vocalist Tommy Victor and former Type O Negative drummer Johnny Kelly, will include the former Misfits frontman's take on songs by Black Sabbath ("N.I.B."), ZZ Top ("Rough Boy"), The Troggs ("A Girl Like You"), The Everly Brothers ("Crying In The Rain") and others.
