Sorrows Path - Announce Addition Of Guitarist

Greek doomsters Sorrows Path have announced that they have replaced their guitarist Giannis Tziligkakis, who recently left the band, with George Vichos and will soon start working on the new album. You can see the band playing live on the next confirmed dates: 1st August 2015 Alternative Rock Festival (Atalanti, Lamia, Greece) and 30th January 2016 Mono Goes Metal Festival (Århus, Denmark).

Sebastian Bach - Recruit Live Bassist

Draconian - Complete Mixing New Album

Draconian's vocalist Anders Jacobsson has posted an important update on his Facebook page today. The new album from the gothic doom band is now mixed! While A Rose For The Apocalypse was already released back in 2011, the band has a new singer, Heike Langhans, and the album recordings are finally completed. Also, Daniel Änghede of Crippled Black Phoenix did some guest vocals for this upcoming album. Now you just have to wait for the final product to arrive. More details will probably be revealed soon.

Persefone - New Drummer Announced

Persefone have a new drummer! They have welcomed Sergi "Bobby" Verdeguer to the band and he will take care of drums replacing Marc Mas Marti who left last year. He is the drummer of progressive band Nami, also from Andorra, and he has been a great friend of the band for years.

Nergal - Shares Snippets From Solo Project

Recently, Behemoth's guitarist/vocalist Adam "Nergal" Darski revealed that he was working on a solo project which he described as "very stripped down and simple. The most primitive, acoustic-based stuff." The frontman has now shared some clips on his Instagram page of music he appears to be working on. Judging by the teases, it is quite different from Behemoth, as he had revealed. You can check out these small snippets here and here.

Magic Pie - New Album On The Way, Details Revealed

Norwegian proggers Magic Pie have announced that the band's new album King For A Day shall be released on the 25th of May on Karisma Records. The album was mixed and mastered by Rich Mouser (Spock's Beard, Transatlantic, Neal Morse, Dream Theater etc.) at The Mouse House Studios in Los Angeles, and contains six tracks, including one 27-minute track. Overkill - Ink Worldwide Deal With Nuclear Blast

New Jersey thrash metal veterans Overkill have inked a new worldwide deal with Nuclear Blast Records. Previously signed to the label for Europe only, Overkill's first worldwide release on Nuclear Blast will be a special box-set comprised of the band's entire back catalog, due out this fall and coinciding with their co-headlining North American tour (dates below) with fellow Jersey natives and progressive metal juggernauts Symphony X.

Ozzy Osbourne - To Undergo Surgery, Ozzfiesta Cancelled

No fiesta after all. Ozzy Osbourne's Ozzfiesta event, previously planned for May 27th-31st at the Hard Rock Hotel in Riviera Maya, Mexico, has been canceled for medical reasons. Ozzfiesta promoter Cool Breeze Concerts broke the bad news on the event's website, publishing an update revealing that Ozzy is having surgery, scheduled for May, following his South American tour. The reason given is cause for concern but the promoter didn't reveal anything else about Ozzy's health woes.

Last year, Canadian blackened folk metal band SIG:AR:TYR revealed that they were working on new album. Now it's time to see the cover artwork for Northen. According to mainman Daemonskald, the cover captures his love of old illustrated books. The artwork was created by Sara Stuart with layout and graphic design by Paul McCarroll.

Due to unforeseen visa processing delays, Michael Schenker's Temple Of Rock has had to reschedule the first 3 shows of the 2015 North American leg of the Spirit On A Mission Tour to promote the brand new album of the same name which was released through In-Akustik in the USA on the 24th of March 2015. These shows have been rescheduled.
