Swedish death metallers Unleashed have completed the recording process for the successor to Odalheim (2012). The title of the album is still a secret but the label says it should be another classic record. The forthcoming release was recorded by producer and guitar player Fredrik Folkare in his own Chrome Studios in Stockholm, Sweden and will be released in the spring 2015 via Nuclear Blast. Power metallers Blind Guardian have announced the addition of Dutch bassist Barend Courbois to the group's ranks. He was the band's live bassist since 2012. Courbois has played over 4,000 shows and recorded over 60 albums. He has worked with such musicians as Adrian Vandenberg (Whitesnake), Zakk Wylde and Atma Anur (Journey). In 2004, he was voted best metal and all-around bass player by Guitar Player magazine.
