Hamferð - Announce Line-Up Change

Faroe Islands doomsters Hamferð have recently announced that bassist Jenus í Trøðini has departed the band to focus on other things. Ísak Petersen (Synarchy, Heljareyga) is the new bassist who is taking over his place.

Desolate Shrine - New Album On The Way

The Finnish death metal underground act Desolate Shrine has recently confirmed that they will release a new album called The Heart Of The Netherworld on January 13th, 2015. This will be the band's third album, after The Sanctum Of Human Darkness which was released back in 2012. For now, you can take a look at the album cover artwork. As the release date approaches, you can probably expect some music soon.

Within Temptation - Release Clip From Upcoming DVD

Recently, the Dutch symphonic group Within Temptation announced their new DVD/Blu-ray/2CD, Let Us Burn - Elements & Hydra Live In Concert, set for release on November 14th. The band is now lifting the veil a little bit more and shares the "Covered By Roses" performance clip, which was recorded live at the Heineken Music Hall in May 2014. The video showcases a mix of both shows: their 2012, 15th birthday Elements concert and the final night of the Hydra European arena tour at Amsterdam's Heineken Music Hall in May 2014.

Megadeth - Enter Studio In January, To Auction Decades Of Tour Memorabilia

Megadeth's frontman Dave Mustaine has recently revealed that the band is gearing up to start recording the follow-up to 2013's Super Collider album. Speaking to the "Classic Rock Magazine Show", at Classic Rock Roll Of Honour event at the Avalon in Hollywood, California, Mustaine said: "We're commencing the writing process right now and we're going to start [recording] in January of next year. We'll be touring in August with a very huge English metal band in the States and South America, and we're hoping to get our record out sometime in the summer."

Napalm Death - Guitarist Mitch Harris To Miss Upcoming Shows

Birmingham grindcore titans Napalm Death have announced that their guitarist Mitch Harris will skip the band's upcoming shows due to "illness within his family". Understandably, Mitch Harris will not be performing with the band in the near future and the group will bring in guitarists to replace him. However, they haven't revealed their identities yet. Napalm Death are about to release a new album Apex Predator - Easy Meat and will tour in North America with Voivod next year around the time of the album release.

Allen/Lande - New Lyric Video Online

The official lyric video for the song "Bitter Sweet" from Jørn Lande and Russell Allen's fourth Allen/Lande collaborative album is now available online. SOiL - Vocalist Ryan McCombs Recovering From Stroke

The American group SOiL just announced on their Facebook page that their frontman Ryan McCombs (ex-Drowning Pool) is currently in the hospital recovering from a stroke. They wish him a speedy recovery. Thankfully, it was caught early and didn't happen while they were on the road with limited access to things. Ryan has also posted an update and he is doing better.

Dark Angel - New Material In The Works

The thrash metal veterans Dark Angel might be the next band to release a comeback album after many, many years like At The Gates did this year. At least, drummer Gene Hoglan confirmed in a recent interview that the band is working on "super awesome" and "super aggressive" new material. Their last album was Time Does Not Heal and it came out in 1991.

Metallica - Deluxe Editions Of First Two Albums Coming

Metallica is seeking help from their fans while preparing remastered, deluxe editions of their first two classic albums, 1983's Kill 'Em All and 1984's Ride The Lightning, which they hope to put out in 2015. Anyone who has photos of the group and memorabilia or audio of concerts Metallica played around that time is being asked to submit them for possible inclusion in the reissues.

Lynch Mob - New Album On The Way, Samples Online

On December 9th, Lynch Mob will release a new album called Sun Red Sun via Rat Pak Records. The opus was written and recorded by the same lineup as the Sound Mountain Sessions EP: George Lynch on guitar, Oni Logan on vocals, Robbie Crane on bass and Scott Coogan on drums. Titan Force - New Release Artwork, Tracklist Revealed

U.S. power metal act Titan Force recently inked a deal with Skol Records. The band's first release for the label will be Force Of The Titan, a collection of 12 previously unreleased studio tracks recorded in the 80s: the complete demo from 1985 - recorded when the band was using the Titan name, featuring John Flores on vocals - and eight classic tracks from the first two Titan Force albums in alternate and previously unreleased demo versions, with Harry Conklin on vocals. The Force Of The Titan cover artwork was painted by Dimitar Nikolov. Check it out below.

Isole - Drummer Quits

Swedish doomsters Isole have announced that drummer Jonas Lindström is leaving after being in the band for 10 years. Even though they are sad to announce his departure, they say he will be missed and wish him all the best. Isole hope they can announce a replacement for Lindström soon. The band is also about to release a new album called The Calm Hunter this November 28th.
