Italian metallers Raintime have launched a new and improved MySpace layout. For this occasion, a new song, entitled "One Day", is now available for streaming on their MySpace page.
The band's as yet untitled new album was recorded in March/April 2009 and will be released later in the year via Lifeforce Records in Europe, Replica Records in France, Soundholic Records in Japan and Bielerbros Records in the US, Canada and the UK.

"Bible Black" comes off the band's forthcoming album, entitled "The Devil You Know", which will be released on April 28th via Rhino Records. The album was recorded at Rockfield Studios, Wales. More details about the album were previously reported at this location.

Astral Doors - New Album On The Way
Swedish metallers Astral Doors have issued the following update:
"It's about time that we give you all a real update of what's happening in the Astral Kingdom at the moment.
We've received many mails from worried fans asking us where we are and why it's so quiet from us right now. Well, the answer is: we're working harder than ever before, but not public.
We have actually moved into the studio, writing and recording songs for the upcoming album. We have written 20 songs ot something at the moment and more will come. The creativity has never been at this level before, so we will continue the work a few more months before we go to mixing.
What more to say? Well, our new management Flying Dolphin, with Mr.Chris Boltendahl in the lead, does a great job for us and we feel that the future looks very, very promising. In August we'll come up with a big surprise for you and then a new album and a great tour all across Europe.
So, there you have it: the present and the future of Astral Doors!

''Storm'', the new video from Swedish metallers Sanctification, has been made available online.
The band commented: "In this video, as on the album, Masse "Emperor Magus Caligula" Bromberg from the legendary Dark Funeral appears and the film team that is behind it is called Standard Film Team from Umeå, Sweden. The video was filmed during one day in April in Östersund, Sweden."

"Exactly 44 minutes and 44 seconds will be the length of the upcoming, fourth Riverside album entitled "Anno Domini High Definition", the most energetic and rockin' record of the band. The material recorded in Studio X in Olsztyn will be released on June 15th, 2009 in Poland by Mystic Production (worldwide on June 19th, 2009 by InsideOut). The booklet layout has again been designed by Travis Smith."

"Norwegian melodic black metal masters Old Man's Child, led by guitarist/vocalist Galder (Dimmu Borgir), are about to return to the spotlight with the release of their new album "Slaves Of The World".
The album was recorded at Studio Fredman in Gothenburg, Sweden with acclaimed producer Fredrik Nordström (Dimmu Borgir, Arch Enemy, In Flames, etc.), who had previously worked successfully with the band on their "In Defiance Of Existence" (2003) and "Vermin" (2005) albums. For drum duties and sticking to the tradition of bringing in a new exceptional player for each new album, Old Man's Child mastermind Galder decided to enlist Peter Wildoer (Darkane, ex-Arch Enemy, Pestilence, etc.) this time around, guaranteeing a mercilessly blasting, yet technically high skilled musical punch from start to finish! Axel Rudi Pell - To Release "Best Of" Compilation
SPV will release a "Best Of" compilation of the last 10 years, to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the recent line-up, the 20 year anniversary of Axel as a solo artist ("Wild Obsession" came out in 1989) and the 25th anniversary of Axel as a recording artist (the first Steeler record came out in 1984). It will be released just in time for the second part of "The Skull Cown Tour" which will see the band as the special guest on all 5 dates of the upcoming Heaven And Hell german Tour in June.
