Iced Earth - Release New Album's Third Single
Iced Earth have been kind enough to share a third track from their upcoming new studio record, Incorruptible, out on June 16th via Century Media Records. Fans had to wait three years to listen to new material, but the band is giving them plenty to sink their teeth into. As of now, you can also stream the track "Great Heathen Army", in the form of a lyric video.

Leprous has announced today the title and release date of their upcoming album. Soundgarden - Chris Cornell Dead At Age 52
The Associated Press just shared the shocking news that Soundgarden's frontman Chris Cornell has passed away. Cornell was born and raised in Seattle, Washington and formed Soundgarden back in 1984 with Kim Thayil and Hiro Yamamoto. He was also the vocalist of Audioslave and the short-lived Temple Of The Dog. Cornell also released four solo studio albums and a solo live album. According to his representative, Chris Cornell died on Wednesday night in Detroit at the age of 52. R.I.P.

Shining - Show Cancelled Amid Accusations Of Racism, Groping Women
Shining's Niklas Kvarforth is facing some controversy yet again. According to reports, the band's show in Portland was cancelled by the venue after the frontman was accused of using racist and homophobic slurs, slapping an audience member, and threatening to stab employees, as well as other alleged actions when they played at Boise, Idaho at The Shredder. Tonic Lounge, a venue in Portland, found out about Kvarforth's behavior and cancelled the show.
