Exumer - Announce European Tour With Hirax

German thrash metal legends Exumer will embark on a headlining tour across Europe this August with Hirax, dubbed the 'Scorching Europe 2024' tour. The tour comes in anticipation of Hirax's upcoming album Faster Than Death, while Exumer are presently working on the follow-up to 2019's Hostile Defiance. Both music outputs are planned for release sometime this year.

Mr. Big - To Release 'Ten' Album In July

Mr. Big, who are currently in the midst of a farewell tour, just announced that their tenth studio album Ten is due for release on July 12th, 2024. The record was produced by Jay Ruston and pays tribute to their late original drummer Pat Torpey; in his place, Nick D'Virgilio performs drums on the album. Pre-orders are being taken here.

Testament - Announce Co-Headlining N. American Tour With Kreator

Nasty Savage - To Release Next Full Length In October

20 years since the release of their last studio album Psycho Psycho, thrash/power metal legends Nasty Savage have now announced that their new record Jeopardy Room is set for release on October 4th 2024. The news of the album was broke on social media by guitarist Dave Orman, who replaced original Nasty Savage guitarist David Austin nearly two years ago.

Leeway - Frontman Eddie Sutton Dies

Eddie Sutton, lead singer of the iconic New York hardcore/thrash metal band Leeway, died last Friday (April 19th) after a three-year battle with Stage 3 Adenocarcinoma. He was 59 years old, and a funeral for him will be held this coming Tuesday (April 23rd). In other news, a benefit concert in honor of Sutton is scheduled to take place at the Debonair Music Hall in Teaneck, New Jersey on June 14th.

UFO - Call It Quits

[band_id]3563[/band_id] frontman Phil Mogg confirmed in a recent interview with Ultimate Classic Rock that, following a 55-year run, the legendary hard rock/heavy metal band has officially called it quits. This news comes nearly two years after UFO had to cancel a tour, due to Mogg's recovery after suffering a heart attack.

Crimson Glory - Will Put Out Next Studio Album In 2025

Recently-reunited progressive metal pioneers Crimson Glory are in the process of writing their long-awaited follow-up to 1999's Astronomica, which according to guitarist Ben Jackson is tentatively due in the fall of 2025. In anticipation of the record, the band released its first song in 25 years "Triskaideka" last January.

Exodus - To Release Live Album In May

Bay Area thrash metal titans Exodus are releasing a live album called British Disaster: The Battle Of '89 - Live At The Astoria on May 31st, 2024 via Nuclear Blast, around the same month the band begins recording their next studio album. British Disaster was recorded live on March 8th, 1989 at the London Astoria as Exodus were touring behind their third album Fabulous Disaster, and in support of it, the band have released a live video of that album's title track from the concert. Eddie Sutton, lead singer of the iconic New York hardcore/thrash metal band Leeway, has announced that he is in hospice care amid his fight with Stage 3 Adenocarcinoma. Sutton was diagnosed with the illness back in 2021 and a GoFundMe page has been set up to cover his medical bills.
