Soundwave is the biggest metal event in Australia each year and the line-up for 2014 has just been announced. It seems the Nine Inch Nails rumours weren't true but some big names have been announced, including Megadeth, Testament, Amon Amarth, Alice In Chains, Avenged Sevenfold and Rob Zombie, plus many more.

Other acts include Korn, Alter Bridge, Trivium, Down, DevilDriver, Newsted, Asking Alexandria, Clutch, Baroness, Five Finger Death Punch, August Burns Red, Gwar, The Black Dahlia Murder, Ill Niño, Volbeat, Terror, Whitechapel, TesseracT and Coliseum. Many more will still be announced.

1 March - Adelaide, Bonython Park
3 March - Perth, Claremont Showground

Presale tickets go on sale at the following times:

Wed 28th, August 9am for Sydney
Thur 29th, August 9am for Adelaide and Perth
Fri 30th, August 9am for Melbourne and Brisbane

General public tickets go on sale on September 5th, 9am.
