Yerû?elem - Vindsval And W.D. Feld's New Project

Here's some exciting news for Blut Aus Nord fans. It has recently been revealed that Yerû?elem, the newest entity created by Vindsval and W.D. Feld, will release their debut album, The Sublime, on February 9th 2019, in Digipack CD, Gatefold 12" LP and Digital Download via Debemur Morti Productions. You can check out all the album details available so far below and start anticipating it.

According to the label, the project's name speaks of an incalculable vastness of contemplation within: Yerû?elem's sound is a congruent melding of powerfully bass-heavy Godfleshian clank and grind, the sacred ur-texts of Coil and Autechre, stark neo-gothic guitar leads with intimations of fusion, the freshness-into-fetid-air experimentation of back-end '90s Mayhem and Thorns, post-punk urbanity, psychedelic dreamgaze, subterranean industrial pulses, and the crunching rhythmic crispness of modernist electronica.

The ambitious project was born of the last echoes of the surrealist album Cosmosophy (the third chapter of the famous "777" trilogy released by Blut Aus Nord between 2011 and 2012).

The Sublime features 9 songs:

01. The Sublime
02. Autoimmunity
03. Eternal
04. Sound Over Matter
05. Joyless
06. Triiiunity
07. Babel
08. Reverso
09. Textures Of Silence

The artwork was crafted by the visionary Dehn Sora.

Yerû?elem will premiere a song on the upcoming Servants Of Chaos II, the 15-year label anniversary release that will be out on December 14th 2018.

The cover is already a winner.

Cosmosophy was to me the best piece of 777, so I can be hyped for what's to follow.

Given the description I have a feeling this will hardly be black metal at all, or rather that black metal will be a very mild part of it if it's there. Not minding that at all though, I've always wondered what some of the more industrial and hallucinatory moments from Blut Aus Nord would be like if they got expanded as a full album, and this may finally be the answer!

Sweeeeeeeet. Vindval rocks my world, in a melting, demonic, nightmare at the edge of the universe sort of way. Can't wait.
