Overkill - Upcoming Album's Title Revealed
Overkill drummer Jason Bittner has broken the news that Scorched will be the title of the long-running thrash metal band's upcoming 20th studio album, which is to be released in April 2023 and it will also be their first full-length since 2019's The Wings Of War.
Bittner wrote on Facebook, referring to the band's appearance last night at Ruhrpott Metal Meeting in Germany: "Last one of the year! See you in 2023 with Scorched - the 20th album in the Overkill catalog! Night all! Back on a plane home in less than 8 hours, and my weekend is farrrr from done…..more on that soon!"

Veteran thrashers Overkill performed a brand new song called "Wicked Place" during their December 9 concert at the Ruhrpott Metal Meeting in Oberhausen, Germany. Fan-filmed video of the performance can be seen below. "Wicked Place" will appear on band's 20th studio album, "Scorched", to be released next year.
