Yeah... I know Megadeth is a way better band then Metallica but Dave could have just settled with the second place on the bill and show the Metallica fans what real metal is

I mean they're not even in the same genre anymore, Metallica there radiofriendly "hits" has lost it thrash while Megadeth still is thrash/speed. I've even have a friend, who's a Metallica fan, asked "what the fuck is thrash?"...Speaks for itself.

Dave talked about it in some magazines (interview in French Rock Hard for sure). Well he didn't say that he wanted to play after Metallicaonly but that he wanted a rotation (and then a new line up order) between all the bands at each new date. Maybe that you can change that Marcel

Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax on the same bill? I just may have to go for this one. It's a shame if the rumour about Megadeth being approached and rejecting is true. Like them just as much as the other three of the "Big Four" so that would've been a hell of a treat!

It seems the UK fest is gonna feature Rammstein and Iron Maiden as headliners, plus Motley Crue, Slayer, Anthrax, Alice Cooper, Iggy & The Stooges and The Cult.. wow, great line-up already apart from the exclusion of Metallica.
