At least as compared to last 3 Megadeth albums, it's very good.

Great album! I would say it has a spot in Megadeth's top 5 albums of all time, of course behind the classics...
Anyways, I was very satisfied with this release and I would highly recommend this...

There are 3 maybe 4 songs who have a old megadeth vibe on it. But the rest is only good, noting moore. But that´s what I think..

Not the best of the year, but it's a very good one in my opinion ... There are many strong riffs

A strong record, though I feel they focused mainly on shredding, which is good but not everything. I recommand to all Megadeth/Pantera/Slayer/Death Angel fans to check out Sacrifice's album The Ones I Condemn. Pure Thrash to bang your head with.

Definitely overrated IMO. "The System Has Failed" totally raised the bar for Megs, and was definitely my fave since RIP. And "Endgame" fails to topple it. Some songs are really good, but some solos feel like they've been added for their own sake, and as talented as Chris Broderick is, he doesn't really fit with Megadeth's sound IMO. Some songs also sound rushed, or unfinished. It's a good album to be sure, but too flawed to be classed among their best, or even equal to "The System Has Failed". "Headcrusher" is awesome though! As is "Bodies Left Behind", though that is one of the songs which feels unfinished to me....

Great, great music here! Megadave and crew certainly have this part nailed. Dave's vocals were Dave's Vocals, and we all know what to expect there. But am I the only one who thought most of the lyrics on this album were incredibly lame? At times, dare I say, St Anger lame.

I really do like this album, I have to admit. And yes, it is a great comeback for Megadeth. And of course, I LOVE the lyrics... Especially in Endgame.

According to that reasoning United Abominations would be the defintion of crap. Imo Endgame is the definition f average for it uses totally out of place solos for showing off sake.

You liked an album that is the epitome of boredom and up there at boredom levels with ditties such as Practice What Your Preach, Souls In Black etc etc? Wow, suprising.

One word: Amerikhastan. I think I got addicted to it, for some reason.
BTW, it's Souls OF Black. And... I think it's more boring than UA.

The only half decent to half good songs on UA are Sleepwalker & Washington Is Next!
Amerikhastan is up their in contrivence and crappiness with the rerecording atrocity of Tout Le Monde, which already was horrendous in its original version.

A Tout le Monde (Set Me Free) was the worst track on the album. The opening of Amerikhastan was laughable too, but I don't know... :|

I've never said "United Abominations" was better than "The System Has Failed". UA is IMO the worst Megadeth album after "Risk".
Sleepwalker, Washington is Next! and Gears of War are great songs. The rest is awful.

IMO the worst Megadeth album after "Risk" is "The World Needs A Hero". For me, "The System Has Failed" is the best Megs album outside of the first 4.
UA suffers from some of the same problems as ''Endgame'' but not as much. Even though I enjoy more of what's on ''Endgame'' than UA. Despite what most people say about Megs re-discoveing their classic aggression, I think ''Head Crusher'' is the only song on the album which manages to sound aggressive and at the same time, not forced. Its definitely up there with modern Megs thrash classics like "Blackmail The Universe", and "Kick The Chair". xD

The main "melodic grinding" riff isn't that appealing to me.
But it's a decent song, I guess.
