Maybe the best?
No words can describe it's wonderful beauty and deep, meditative emotions...

I love this album

There is noreason to repieat what I have said million times, this is my fav album each songs is in the best list, so and last 3 is my fav, not from this one but all time Primordial fav songs
Awesome album

I really don't understand why so many people labeled this band as Black ?!
Besides their first two releases contained a bit black elements the rest of their albums are mixed styles...black, doom, death, heavy metal, folk...all-in-one. I would rather call them Alternative Folk Metal.

I would rather call this brilliant.

While the black metal may be largely gone from Primordial's music by this album, I'd hardly consider them a folk anything band.

Damn, Cities Carved In Stone, great way to close an album out.

Well, it had been too long since I had listened to this album start to finish. I try to save it for the special moments. I suppose a Shinkansen trainride after two weeks in Japan through amazing landscapes and cities more than qualifies.

band has deep philosophical lyrics in each song, album, its like they thought many years what to write, same time its sinle, poetical whit dark n deep meaning about our cruel life end existence and Irland is catholic country , where priest agrees that IRA can execute women because she had baby from protestant...

I don't know whether this story is true or not, but if that was really happen, it must be something wrong whit religious people.

Church is IRA hight outs for weapons and priets love violence, they dont like ''religious'' mixture. I will try find out that BBC radio ulster reportage I heard many years ago about it.

Oh, I'll talk. Alan just shared a clip of them rehearsing the title track. Pretty much a given that they will play it on their next shows. Hopefully that includes the one in Dublin called "Tracks From The Wilderness." Well, with that event name it probably does...
It's hard to pick a favourite from this album but I think, while Coffin Ships is obviously a contender and an extremely emotional song, that title track just gets to me in a different way that fewer other songs do.

I have heard of them, I think one of their members was in Primordial at some point, but never listened to them. Will check it out!

Supurb album! The lyrics are beautifully written and full of raw emotion, Nemtheanga is a masterful poet, and songwriter, probably my favourite lyricist in metal.
Primordial have their own unique sound and style, of course it's folk, but there are elements of doom, aswel as black metal in here, which I really like, the atmospheric build ups are truly epic.

This album never gets old, and "Coffin Ships" gives me goosebumps every time I listen to it. To The Nameless Dead is still my personal favourite of theirs, but this is a mighty close second.

Indeed, what an excellent and timeless album. TTND is untouchable, as for 2nd best Primordial it is a tie for me between this one and Redemption at the Puritan's Hand, which I consider somewhat underrated.

A truly excellent album. The last three songs are simply brilliant.
