This is album of ones Great Russian metal band. But know it is just a shadow of it past.
Anatoly Krupnov (RIP) was great leader of this band (vocals and bass). He had not only great voice, but he was able to create the atmosphere from the very depth of his soul. It is really hard to describe. His song was really complicated with interesting lyrics. And now they sing "I took guitar.. And became rock-star hey". It is pitty

your rating is completely biased against new Obelisk. We all love and respect Anatoly Krupnov (btw... great voice? or great timbre of voice? cannot agree with first), but it is a great gift to us all that the rest of his band is still playing his songs and writing new ones, which >>in my opinion<< are even better. Take this album, for instance. The band worked on it for more than 3 years! No wonder they claim it's their best record - each of them provided such great input. Lyrics? What do you despise about them? That they are sincere, realistic and true? Not many bands nowadays can release such good albums after more than 25 years of playing.
