This album, ...Magni Blandinn Ok Megintiri..., is as glorious and phenomenal as the Northlands themselves. This is pure, and I mean pure, Viking and Folk influenced Metal. You can tell no doubt, that it is. Let us begin with the strong sound. Vratyas Vakyas is indeed a great mind, and with him comes great ideas. A main part that sticks out in his music is his use of atmospheres and Nordic sounds, carrying a greater variety of atmospherics than Quorthon himself, Vratyas' music takes you on a ride into the Northlands and the Sea, into battles, and full force into Heathen pride.

I recently discovered the band through this album and it's just fabulous.

"Towards The Hall Of Bronzen Shields" and "Walhall" are my favorites from the album.

An amazing album, and one that has made me a big fan of Falkenbach ever since. A friend introduced me to them via the song '...When Gjallarhorn will Sound...', and I was instantly taken in by the atmosphere and the epic black metal style, with those harmonic vocals drawing me in. 'The heathenish Foray' and 'Walhall' are two other highlights, but every song on this album is excellent in its own way.

Yeah, good stuff but not as great as I expected. The riffs often sound a bit generic and repetitive, going on for too long.

Might be a grower, but for now a 7 is a fitting score.

If you mean growl as singing no, calm vocals, fits and yes its still epic but something missing, IMO that's why this is one man band will pay the quality prise,

I like this a lot more than Bathory! So epic, it sounds like if Summoning dabbled with Norse mythology
