Yep. I'm arrogant and unoriginal enough to think you'd be interested in reading about everything - the good and the bad - I have listened to that's been released in 2015.
- Will assign ratings (which are always susceptible to change), with a short justification, links, links to reviews (by me) if there are any.
- The albums to which I assigned a ★ are great new discoveries, or really original, or albums I didn't expect to be so good.

Both singles that were released were very good. The first one especially.

I listened to it all, and seriously, I am baffled at how much I love it. I can see it become my favourite Manson, twelve years after I gave up on him. Third Day Of A Seven Day Binge has been playing all day on my stereo and in my head, and many songs in the album have the same bluesy feel. I am going to review it anyway when an official link is released, I'll tell you all about it

You just gave me a good idea for the thumbnail. The drawings for the other lists were easy to come with.

Haha well it's not blues blues. But it does feel like he got inspired by guys like Gil Scott Heron. Gil with his depressing themes and his "modern" kind of blues.

But hey I'm talking out of my ass, I have no source to confirm that with or anything. Anyway, you'll tell me when you get to it.

Your off to an awesome start. I never even got a chance to listen to 2015 material, let alone make a list.

Yeah I'm not that generous with votes and I have four eights already. it's crazy, I'm loving all those four albums and the first week of January isn't even past yet. You seem to have eclectic enough tastes, so I'll probably stop by if you do create a list.

Very poor start to the year on my end as games have been quite distracting however I did get through Marilyn's album. Gotta say it could be my surprise of the year, and it's my first 2015 release!

Good to see you liked it too, and that I wasn't really hallucinating hehe. It is likely to be my biggest surprise too, as I had buried him in the past for almost 12 years.
Yeah I haven't seen you comment that much these days, but you'll come back to us .

I'm really impressed with Manson's new material as well. I like the fact that he's not trying to outdo himself or even compete with more modern "industrial" acts...he's just being himself and doing his own thing. Killing Strangers is my fave of the new album so far, I think he's been going uphill from High End of Low onwards.
Another great list to keep my eye on for 2015, and a great source to discover new bands I'm sure.

Thank you for the compliment! It's going nicely for now because I have time, not so much in the non-metal section but I'll get on that soon.

Yeah isn't it crazy? Even if I might like another album more than his during the coming 12 months, I am almost sure it will remain the biggest surprise of the year.

A'course!

I look forward to it, especially for the non metal additions.

I've only heard three or four songs off of his new album, and I love them all so far. If the whole album is that good, I'm in for a treat. It is pretty crazy, as I thought he'd be pretty burned out after Born Villain. I had no idea where he'd go from there. I can't wait to see where this year takes us =)

This is your day of luck because the whole thing is streaming just here: http://www.lesinrocks.com/2015/01/12/musique/marilyn-manson-the-pale-emperor-en-ecoute-en-avant-premiere-integrale-11545443/

The songs you heard (the various singles I guess) are actually the best of the album in my opinion. But the rest is just as nice to listen to. I am personally addicted to the first half of the album.

Haha you're too nice, thanksies. For now there isn't much for you, apart from those 6 at the top that have been there for a while now. I'll remind you of things when you take your tampons out of your bleeding ears, don't worry .

Haha. I'll try my best to keep it under 4500, promise. Yeah I was on a deathcore binge this week, and with more releases coming, it'll be more varied. Hasta la próxima .

We never argued on Sylosis, I hadn't listened to it at the time. I just remember seeing something about metalcore that could have meant something negative but you explained it .

You make Anthony Fantano look like a lazy hack. Although to be fair, you're not putting up an edited video per album. However, my ADHD side prefers this to an extent.

I wouldn't want to impose my shitty opinions on people other than with reviews and lists, sound and video would be torture for some . The number of entries per day will decrease as I'm just a bit excited for now haha.

A little confused as to why you'd add an album if you didn't want people to listen to it

This list is most importantly a very good way to keep track of my own listenings in one place with all the links to albums, bandcamps, and reviews accessible. And secondly, if it can serve as a warning, I don't see why not. And finally, because it's fun, I like to give my opinion on things.

Because sometimes people will like things that you do not.
