My first impression wasn't very positive but after a couple of more listens it really got under my skin. "The Flames Of Infinite Blackness Before Creation" and the title song are two of their best compositions ever, just amazing.
Great album once again, they never disappointed anw.

Haven't listened to it myself yet, but I heard their preview track a while back, and I liked it quite a bit, so I'm pleased to hear that the rest of the album is good. From what I could tell from the preview track, their vocals did indeed sound way better--which is good, because that shitty frog voice was the major thing that made it hard for me to listen to this band. Now it sounds a bit like Deathspell Omega's vocals, which I love.

On my 3rd spin, and motherfucker they hit the chord hard this time.
Superb album. As said, no shit with vocals as Jason has different pitching variation and it fits really well.

Is this the album that may kick Ominous Doctrines off its throne? Perhaps the band's best work yet? I'll give it a few more listens. Stay tuned.
Also, I'm in agreement that the vocals here are much better. Not that I ever really had a problem with them. I've always tolerated them, but the riffs are what truly matter here.

Vocals were actually a big factor that ruined a good music.
They never disappointed when it comes to composing music in a very structured way( be it riffs or solos). But, vocals were tad annoying and overlapped on music making it completely unlistenable and vexatious.

I absolutely love this one. It's going to be the best album of the year. Others don't even have to try anymore. Nothing can beat this in my opinion. The song "The Flames Of Infinite Blackness Before Creation" is an absolute masterpiece and one of my all time favorite Black Metal songs from now on.

Yeah, initially it worried me that this is not as catchy as the last record from the get-go but this is an even more consistent and solid record. Just goes to show how consistent these guys are. And yeah I agree with everything said above reg. the title track, vox etc. Stellar stuff.

They finally fixed their shitty vocals. First Inquisition album where I'm not desperately waiting for it to end already.

Good God that interview is really long. I could listen to the entire Inquisition discography before finishing reading that.

Good God that interview is really long. I could listen to the entire Inquisition discography before finishing reading that.
And then to think I edited a third of it out and that the interview was cut short because the band had to get ready for their show

Indeed, the riffs, those riffs.
But I wouldn't say there is a hype surrounding Inquistion. It's just that their latest album has been getting a lot of positive reviews.

Don't see any hype here tbh apart from people appreciating the lack of Lord Kermit vox. It is really good, less catchy but even more darker riffs than the last one. I still prefer the last one for its better artwork and more memorable songs but this is still rock consistent as in the end it is Inquisition ffs.
