After reading the first 2 messages you can completely understand what are this musicians trying express through this song and video. There is nothing more to add.

Preferred the first single, this one is more forgettable and with more noticeable recycled ideas.

They have become so vapid and stale. Having a golden opportunity with bringing in Alissa (and Loomis) but went the other way around. They're both wasting their talent in this band, Alissa especially. She is a pretty competent lyricist (and a versatile vocalist) but is completely subordinated to the Michael Amott show in every way. They're actually damn well lucky they got her after Angela left, her charisma is apparently enough to keep them interesting to the masses.

This one is, well, it's boring. Had high hopes after the first one... better to have the letdown now, though, I suppose.

Glad to hear some of Alyssa's clean vocals, even if they're a background for the main melody. Shows that Avalanche from their last album struck a chord. I'll take it!

The most frustrating thing is that I think there's a good song in there somewhere, but the arranging feels so uninspired and lazy.

Excellent song! Amott is amazing. People keep waiting for Loomis to play some shit like this is his solo album or something. He joined a thriving Swedish band because American metal is dead as fuck. This is Amott's band and he continues to deliver killer shit.

What a shitty song. Another shitty song. Good thing is now I know I'm not gonna have to waste my time listening to the album.

The lyrics are so bad.

This is the kind of song you'd expect on a B-side release - utterly limp and lifeless - Loomis looks bored to tears.

I prefered a little the first one. Both released songs are indeed OK / OK+ but not exceptionnal. Let's see with the full album

I'd say that too many solos are played in metal. A lot of the time a solo ruins a perfectly good song.

I couldn't agree more. Cradle of Filth are a good example. Usually their solos suck, and are completely redundant.

Point is, Loomis' inclusion hasnt apparently added anything to the songs. leave solos, no interesting riffs either.

Loomis worte 0% of this album. Amott said it in an interview, the same interview where he said something like: "there are somethings Jeff plays that I can't, and other things I play that Jeff can't"

For Loomis fans like me it's best to wait for Alyssa solo album, apparently he was involved a lot in the writing process.

Yes, I read that interview. By the looks of it, Loomis wasn't involved in the songwriting at all.

So, he seems to be like another hired guy like so many before in Arch Enemy, which is such a shame and waste. Go back to Nevermore!

Apparently Loomis will have a prominent role on Alissa White-Gluz's upcoming solo album.

Agree 100%. War Eternal was way way better than Khaos Legion
