Finland-based death metal formation Baron have signed contract with Transcending Obscurity Records for the release of their debut record, Beneath The Blazing Abyss. The latter was recorded, mixed and mastered by Jussi Riikonen. For a first preview of the upcoming music output, give a listen to the "Incinerated Evil" track.

Here is the band's statement: "Hello and greetings from Finland! We're thrilled to announce that our debut full-length album, Beneath The Blazing Abyss, will be released through Transcending Obscurity Records later this year. It's a record that we have been tirelessly working on since 2018, and after what felt like an eternity, we are bursting with excitement to share it with the world.

"Beneath The Blazing Abyss showcases a blend of diverse influences, ranging from the psychedelic madness of Tucker-era Morbid Angel to death doom reminiscent of Disembowelment and Evoken, while also paying homage to Finnish legends like Amorphis and Sentenced."
