No, I actually picked two random artists. I just googled 'the guy who always paints Putin faces' and 'the guy who paints a bunch of crazy shit'. I didn't even know they were Flemish painters until you pointed it out.

I was talking about the fuss I've seen a few of them make about having x or y ancestry from 300 years ago. (A guy seriously explaining why he's prone to drinking a lot because he "is" Irish for example). </offtopic>

Almost all my favourite artists are dead. Makes me kinda laugh that OP considers Dimebag an "artist"'.

Probably Peter Steele from Type O Negative. I love his deep voice and music. I also need to mention Clive Burr from Iron Maiden. RIP

I don't know how people think that he was a great guitarist.

He had some pretty good guitar solos (Floods comes to mind) and his riffing style might be the most innovative since Judas Priest, but I've never been a huge fan of him because I despise his guitar tone and find most his riffs to be boring even if some a great.

Didn't rnr started in 1955? I think Orbison started performing in 1953 and influneced many (primarily American) great bands and individuals. He didn't invent rnr, though.
