My favorite music these days include grime which is hip hop from the UK primarily influenced from garage and drum n' bass. I'm also digging dubstep which is also originally from the UK. The music can be described as a cross between industrial, ambient and drum n' bass.

Yep, grime is indeed cool. Oh, and Wiley rocks.
I listen to a lot of stuff besides metal (lately that's all I'm doing)... one genre, huh... it might be hard rock but since I don't find it THAT different... I'll say it's trance music. Mainly from the Netherlands.

Nice to see someone else on here appreciate the grime stuff. Wiley is definitely a household name in the scene despite his last album being pop oriented apparently.
Do you know about DJ Hidden ? Since you mentioned the Netherlands he came to mind.
Here's a good track :

Swing Jazz. EX. Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey and Duke Ellington. I also enjoy Hatecore. For those who don't know Hatecore is Punk with racist lyrics. Mudoven is an exilent example.

Those aren't really rock 'n' roll.
Artists like Jerry Lee Lewis and Chuck Berry are rock 'n' roll. Although the term is nowadays synonymous with rock music in general (bands use it in their songs like crazy), it originated from blues, country and gospel.

I am torn between goth and electronica. London After Midnight is probably my favorite non-metal band, so I have to go with goth.
