Some of the best guitar melodies I´ve heard in long time. It really reminds me of those great tunes in old games, Castlevania type.

Exactly what I was going to post as well. The melodies stay with me all day. Definitely Castlevania-ish. One of the best albums I've heard this year.

Hadn't realized there was a cover of "One Hundred Years" here as a bonus track. I love it.

Haven't listened to any metal for almost 2 years even though I still regularly check new stuff here and this is the first album that sounds actually intresting new and fun to me.

Didn't like their previous release a bit, but this is great. I'd really like to see these guys live.

Strange that you didn't like their previous one at all yet think this one is great. There isn't that much difference musically between the two.

Yup, tried it again to make sure, but even though being stylistically similar the songwriting is a lot better in this one.

Haven't done much music exploration this year but this album is definitely my most listened to, really good stuff. Pyramids and Leviathan probably take the next two places, so far. I think I like it more than the previous now. I thought it was a bit sugary at first but it has a surprising amount of re-playability. I've seen a few people complain about the last track, but I really like it. Reminds me a bit of Waters of (Wat)Ain at points for some reason.

To be honest this album is almost nothing like the previous musically so not surprised you like one and not the other. The last one was a sort of slightly proggy, psychedelic infused mixture of black, death and thrash, whereas this one is more of a straight up, melody oriented heavy metal / faux-metal hard rock album with a bit of a gothic touch here and there, and black-ish vocals of course. I love both, and they both have a similar signature sound to them, but they're extremely different in the end.

Tribulation are a bitch to describe in succinct terms =P which is odd because they're not even that complex.

Great way to explain it.

This is why I can't get into this one. I can't find a vibe or get it's mood. It seems neither here nor there.

I think it was instant love for me, which worried me because usually albums like that get boring quite rapidly. It's both simple and deep at the same time, which is a pretty rare quality.

This is one fucking amazing cover. For a moment I thought it was an original song.

I really didn't like it a lot when I first heard it. That is one of my absolute favorite the Cure song and they NAILED the instrumental part... but the vocals sound so out of place.
A+ for effort though.

Not a bad album, but not great too.. It still has that "feeling", but it lacks the energy and the awesome outbreaks their previous album had... It's less death metalish, which is a shame as they played Awesome death metal...

This album is very very good, amazing blend of genres. The Motherhood of God is just a phenomenal track and one of the best songs i've listened the whole year. Great drive.

Reinkaos was a pretty standard melodeath album, so I doubt it sounds much like it. I'd say Tribulation are unique soundwise, if not song / style wise.
