Just because an album is nearly completed doesn't mean it's being released in a week.

Some albums are recorded, mixed and mastered months before being released. Sometimes years if there's trouble with distribution.

Or just to let fans simmer so that when it finally drops they get a massive burst of sales from all the salivating junkies trying to get their fix...

On another note I too am super psyched for this release. SoP were awesome before but now that they have Christian they're gona be legen...wait for it...dary!!!

This one and Reign Supreme are the best releases of 2012 without a single doubt. The Evangelist is one of the sickiest tracks I've ever heard, the lyrics are insane

This album is fucking bonkers, in a good way. Nice to finally listen to a Tech album that challenges me.

I admire the high level of quality musicianship that this band possessed in their day, they could certainly play brutal, fast and technical, but I personally don't find this album all that interesting tbh. It has a lack of interesting melodies with aimless and messy song structures, and apart from the closing track "Apparition", nothing else stood out for me.

Those were my thoughts exactly after the first few listens, but one day the record just clicked, and what seemed somewhat random and messy suddenly morphed into something fun and imaginative. Yes, ‘”Apparition” instantly stands out due to its symphonic flourishes; but when you really get used to its sound, the album is extremely rewarding. Chaotic, but in a good way. And all the melodies that had seemed lacking at first easily came into focus on subsequent listens

Maybe your right and it might take more listens for me to fully appreciate. I might be missing something, it's happened before where I've warmed to an album that I never thought I would have. I'm definitely going to check this album out again soon
