For me, Rock The Nations serves as the lowest ebb for Saxon during the 80's, which is a shame as the band were trying to appease their fans of old rather than focus on drawing in new fans. By now, the band were picking up the pieces and trying to put them back together, but end up with bloodied hands and a mess of an album. Read more ›› |

Pretty average 80's hard rock album. For a Saxon album it's not that good at all, but if you can get past the fact, it's not the worst thing ever. Little cheese every now and then won't hurt anybody.

Wow. Okey so it starts off good with two decent songs. But then it's crashes, and hard. This is just a total mess in every sense, the song writing is all over the place and when you think there's something even average it just blows up in some extremely cheesy and lousy chorus. We Came Here To Rock and the two first ones are the exception.

The band sounds trying to reach mainstream audiences and the outcome is pretty weak and forgettable. I think only Battle Cry is really good song.
