I gotta say dude, of all the myriad of elitist BS comments I've seen in the black metal spectrum of this site, I've never seen no one make any. He's generally one of the more calm and reasonable posters all around the forums. Saying nobody cares if he doesn't like this band is basically saying not to share an opinion which is what the forums are mostly for anyways.

Hopefully it doesn't make you madder that I said that, just resolving dumb arguments and getting people to chill out is more productive than devil popcorn spam IMO. At the end of the day though you should probably not make too many judgments about people's personal lives based on music stuff, it's not 100% of the personality package for a lot of people...

haha, yeah i know it would be entertaining, but guys like this don't deserve the attention, they feed off it. I'm guessing the "The Biggest Surprise Of 2014" award was given to this due to so many people collectively being confused as hell trying to figure out exactly what this is. Anyways, this album is just as generic and manufactured as every other Japanese Idol group. 2/10

Additionally, If the actual musicians playing the music for this group aren't even going to be included with it, then I don't see how this qualifies ass a metal band in the first place.

I can't believe this exists and it's exactly what it sounds like; metal conventions, para para, j-pop, silly idol dances/lyrics.... Then why did you say their album killed heavy metal? That's like saying grunge killed glam metal. Which it of course did.
But the Babymetal album didn't kill anything. Yes, it's idols kids singing/screaming/dancing over heavy metal, but it didn't kill anything.

If Heavy FUCKING METAL can be killed by little japanese girls, then Heavy Metal is is more fragile than Gene Simmon's precious ego. No, This is just a cute little gimmick that'll pass eventually.

Give Heavy Metal more credit.

A gimmick indeed. The Japanese idol culture was already sickening enough, mixing it with metal is even worse. Aside form the bland, and cliche metal riffs, the way the band does not even show who the actual musicians are is a complete insult to metal as a whole. Just terrible.
