I believe Chuck Schuldiner from Death would be my best one because he has given a lot of good music and I think the Metal world has lost a lot when he died.

Even though people talk badly of Jon Nodveidt's ideals etc. I see him as a musical genius...before he was in jail that is. Seriously thats two albums that will be a part of me, not just the music...its the memories at the time, the feeling behind the music, hes one of the most inspiring musicians for me.

I know this probably has already been said, and it's probably a little Cliche' of me, but I Gotta say CHuck Schuldiner. He's one of my musical Idols. I feel really deeply and relate even more deeply to him than I do any other "Dead" musicians. He guides my fingers as I play.

Hmm thought guestion. I cant name one person, instead i make it two. Chuck Schuldiner and Dimebag. They both(musically) have special place in my heart. Been fan of their music since i was eight years old or something. Actually these two great human beings were the main reason why i started playing guitar and have been huge inspiration to me in anything what comes to playing guitar. RIP.

OMG KURT COBAIN

No, not really (funny as hell though) ...

Even though he's not really considered Metal, I still have to go with Jimi Hendrix. One can only wonder how much more he could have done if he hadn't died so young.

I still cant go past Cliff Burton and what could have been. But he left a great legacy in Master of Puppets.

Do you guys remember the girl from Elis who died last year, what a shame they were a good band, what was her last name, Sabine...?

Thrasher!
I have a couple.

Of course, as a Metallica fan, I have to say Cliff Burton. Don't think I have to explain that one.

The other one is Quorthon. Again, I don't think I have to explain what Bathory did to metal music.

Of course Darrel is on the list too.

Jon Nödtveidt from Dissection, he is for me one of the most powerful guitarrists with the sense of melody, the haunting effects of the songs has not been reached by any band till now, he is my fav dead artist, his music is art!!!.

Chuck Schuldiner How can I forget chuck, no matter how many people mention him, he is a metal god.

Hideto Matsumoto (Hide) from X Japan, another melodic genius, his aesthetics and aggressivity in stage was unmatchable, the energy he displayed with the guitar and vocals is awesome.

Valfar. I can't think of a better musician than the one we lost in him. His music is unreal. When you listen to it, you feel as if he put extra thought and emotion into every part. The atmosphere to it all is excellent as well.
