A brilliant thrash band, one of the many German thrash bands that have that lie among the best in the world... I love them, they have superb catchy in many of the songs..

The lyrics are arguable the best in the business.... Very in-depth and thought provoking...

Btw: I heard someone say that he was on a Kreator concert. That someone said that Mille said at the end of the concert that they were soon to enter the studio to record a new album. It's not confirmed, but I have hope!

That would be awesome. I'm just about ready for some new Kreator material.

or you can try 2001 violent Revolution, the sound is a bit closer to Enemy of god, nothing like though, so don't worry. you might want to skip Endorama for now, maybe try Coma of Souls.

Pleasure to Kill and Extreme Aggression are without a doubt their best albums. Pleasure to Kill is their fastest album and it has a ridiculous amount of guitar solos, while Extreme Aggression has more impressive instrumentals. However, Extreme Aggression doesn't have the greatest sound production, and it isn't as aggressive as I hoped it would be.

Actually, Pleasure to Kill is the only Kreator album that I regularly listen to.

also try and find demos like Blitzkrieg and End Of The World...absolute zero production but great overall sound and rythm...the original 80's!
believe me!

and what anathemaniac said they're one fuckin great band on stage!!!

Pleasure to Kill is my favorite album. I love the way it's constructed...almost like a concept album in a way. I like the way it begins, all nice and peaceful, and then just tears into "Ripping Corpse", one of the most intense songs on the album, alongside "Death is Your Savior", "Riot of Violence", and "Flag of Hate".

Enemy of God is good too. I went through a phase a while back in which pretty much all I listened to was Kreator, early Sodom (Obssessed by Cruelty, etc) and Bathory. Pleasure to Kill was my favorite metal album while I was in that stage.

I personally prefer 'Endless Pain' over 'Pleasure to Kill'. I don't know quite why, but every time I listen to 'Endless Pain' I want to go out and mutilate someone, and I cannot sit still.

A lot of people were annoyed with the Melodeath/Metalcore influences in the riffing on 'Enemy of God', but I personally really enjoy it. Songs like 'One Evil Comes - A Million Follow' are very fun to listen to, and there is still enough old-school Thrash (e.g. the title track) to keep the brutality going.

I won't even waste time speaking of brilliant stage performance :s
I'm not a thrash metal fan, i but i enjoy Kreator music as much as i enjoy my fav. black metal bands. I like the early - Pleasure to kill era and the late Enemy of god album.
What can i say, they're simply the best thrash band there is

...every1 is getting you into "Pleasure to Kill", listen to "Terrible Certainty" after you done listening to pleasure...enemy of god is more technical than these two albums, expect a different sound, and the best german thrash can offer from late 80s...btw these are my personal 2 favorite Kreator albums.

In the Metal magazine I read Mille said that they've recorded a demo of four songs. Now they're discussing which kind of style the album will have. Mille also said that he want's to play shorter songs on the new album, one song is over 8 minutes but he wasn't satisfied with it and the length.
I'm mostly against short songs, except when it comes to Thrash Metal. Why? Three words: Reign in Blood.

I dont see anything wrong with short songs, its better to make a short song leaving you wanting more than a song that drags on so long it loses its magic...

PLEASURE....to kill!

Kreator is, as everyone prior to this post has said, an AMAZING BAND....not to mention the fact that along with Slayer and Possessed they INVENTED death-styled riffing. Morbid Angel expresses total Kreator worship on their first two albums. So did many other early DM bands. Thus, Kreator is one of the most important bands in extreme metal....shit, along with Slayer they practically INVENTED extreme metal...

Pleasure to Kill is my favorite album no question. So fucking brutal!!! Just ripping teutonic thrash to liven up your day....Endless Pain is great as well.

Not really, it would be extremely unfair to trace the formative years of extreme metal down to only these two bands, leaving out such bands like Celtic Frost and Bathory, who pushed the boundaries of the then-young extreme metal music in terms of darkness and atmosphere and also thrash pioneers like Sodom, Destruction and even Metallica ( who were one of the first bands, alongside Slayer, who started making more "extreme" metal). Oh yeah, and also Hellhammer.
