I don't want to call anyone the best because to be the best you have to be the best in every aspect of drumming. Kollias is in my top 5, which is very nice considering the other drummers in ther as well. That guys a bass beast and has amazing endurance.

i am sure that he can PLAY faster than annihilators drummer. you know, in these awards the only thing they check is the speed of the drummers hand/foot/etc. not the speed that he plays or the quallity of his playing...

Well I'm not into Nile, and hearing the twisted sounds of The Flight of the Wounded Bumblebee performed by Mangini is pretty much a winner for me... If you say Nile's drummer kicks so much ass I'm not going to argue with you it's just that the thread is about who is faster, and Mangini is by far the one, it's not about the skill to incorporate irrational speed into music...

yeah i've seen him playing but he hasn't done almost anyhting fast according to music. he creates his bytes/rhythms and that's it. imo the point is not to play fast on your own but to play fast with a band. you know, it's like masturbation!!: you can do it as fast as you want but the point is if you can do it that fast with the girl!
