Maybe Priest's Beyond The Realms Of Death. Powerful song saying "fuck it, I've left this world behind". Wouldn't want to see shit like people sobbing and crying at my funeral. Darkest Hour by Amebix would also be cool, with it's message, although it might sound a little too depressing for people who could not understand the lyrics.

I Talk To The Wind by King Crimson would also be cool, although not metal.

"Angels of Distress" would be the best song...

Angels of Distress perfect funeral song. It's my choice as well.

I was listening to Nocte Obducta's song Gemälde Derer, Die Schieden, and re reading the lyrics (translation, really) and realized that would also be a good song to be played at my funeral

If i have to pick songs i like should be Opeth-The Twilight Is My Robe, Deliverance, The Night ANd The Silent Water, When, The Moor, The Lotus Eater, Ghost Of Perdition, Ending Credits, Bleak. Metallica-Master Of Puppets. Guns N' Roses-Estranged.

But, if somehow i could assist to my funeral and feel the emotions are there i will pick as soundtrack of that: Anathema-Lost Control, Emotional Winter, Are You There. Wow... that is a great question. I had a list somewhere once... but as a metalhead I don't want it to be too depressing or anyone crying too much. I would like the music that really defined me, and for my friends to have a good time and think about the positive.

For me it would have to be Final Victory by Haggard. I saw the word funeral, and the song just started playing in my head. Kind of ironic in a way.

Every time I think of a funeral, I hear Opeth's "Death whispered a lullaby."

I dont wanna say a song !! coz it looks fucked up but i say one real album which is ( there is something rotten ...in the state of Denmark ) by my fav death metal band of all times Illdisposed !!
