Uff... I thought I'd at least like this somewhat. But I don't think I'll ever remember much of this much less revisit it again. Damn shame, cause the cover art is great. Need to stop and trust Vindsval and also stop getting excited when he makes up stuff for the press haha

Marvelous album. Absolutely wonderful. Such quality song writing skills. Sybelius and Mahagma are the songs that reminds me why I love metal so much.

This album was a surprise to me, it's not as trippy as one would expect, that's judging by the album album cover, which for me is one of the most psychedelic album covers in metal. The music is actually very melodic, and accessible compared with other works by this band, and there's is a cosmic vibe to the whole sound, and song structures.

Magnificent, exquisite, superb. We need albums like this one. Inspiration, atmosphere, dark melodies, pace, choirs, everything is here and works perfectly.

I picked up four BAN albums recently and this is probably my second favorite of the bunch, Cosmosophy being first. Hallucinogen's sound doesn't change very much and that's mostly fine by me because it sounds pretty cool, but some of the songs get a little hard to distinguish from one another. Usually tracks 5 and 6 are where my mind wanders but the last two songs bring me back. There isn't a ton of variety but I love the grand ethereal sound of this melodic black metal. Quite a combo.
