The surrounding area of the Mountain you showed doesn't look as inhospitable as Mordor though, I don't think I'll be struck down by a Nazgûl on my travels there
This right here is a list of metal songs that, for some reason, contain Satan's favorite instrument: the banjo. The intent behind this list is mostly to highlight bands that do not usually utilize a banjo and decided to spring one on unsuspecting listeners, so I'm not going to include every single song by the assuredly dozens of folk metal bands whoso picketh þe banjo with regularity, but one or two representative songs from such artists would probably be fine.
Listen to a band called "No One Gets Out Alive". You're gonna fill that list up
Very interesting. I'll just throw one song in there as a placeholder, but I had never imagined that a metal band would use a banjo so frequently to play something other than folk.
Well, I'm not sure I could ever forgive you for not including this one...
Would you forgive me if I offered you my sincerest and most gracious thanks for your contributions and immediately added them to my list in a prominent position?

That would indeed be better. The bands and my ego warmly thank you. You linked Solstafir wrong in your list, though.
I'm not quite sure if the subtle banjo solo in Wuthering Heights' song "Longing For The Woods Part I - The Wild Children" (from Far From The Madding Crowd) qualifies for your luciferous list, but, as you know, that's exactly Old Nick's shtick: subliminal, sneaky, lurking in the shadows. After all, Beelzebul seduced me to listen to power metal. If that is not truly satanic, then I don't know what is.

I assert that it is impossible for a banjo to be subtle, but I do believe that this song fulfills the criteria for inclusion.
Interesting list. Never thought of the banjo in Divinations and Ants Of The Sky. Gonna check out some of the other songs on your list. While I do that here's another black metal banjo for you
