Very good except for the annoyingly 'in your face' lyrics. They could have used more subtelty in that regard. More ambigous or abstract (hence the bands name) lyrical content would suit the music better in my opinion. Songwriting is excellent though.

Great solos, guitar work is amazing

I feel a little bad about this, but here goes my second post here. Upped the rating to a 10, every single detail of this album is absolutely amazing, I can't explain enough how intricate and goosebump-inducing this album is. Best of 2022 by a landslide.

Typically for fans of over-lengthy songs where you get enough and more time to do gradual progression with some atmospheric touch....ain't that easy to do.....well, MS have many fans for them.

Right? It's an insane grower... even for someone who loved it on first listen, it's now absolutely earth shattering!

Agreed completely with the last two comments, i only put it on because it held the number one spot for so long and now, months later, i still can't stop listening to it. superb music.

I really like this. It flows so smooth from passage to passage. Ig there are not really that many highlights when it comes to particular riffs or melodies, but the way it flows is superb.

Very nice surprise to end last year which was generally disappointing to me music-wise. Listening to this I have similar feelings to when I first discovered Agalloch (through this site as well since 15 years ago it was kind of obscure band).

Glad this one got some well-deserved recognition in the MSA 2022

The damn groove in the second half of Prosperity - wormed its way into my head, after I remembered where it was from, stuck it on and just reveled in it, I could listen to those rolling chugs for hours

Came back a year later to comfirm that this is still a straight 10.

'In The Heavens Above...' is such a fucking epic song, definitely the stand-out from the album.

There's just nothing else like this album. Perfection from start to finish.
