There is absolutely nothing wrong in copying another band's style as long as you do it well - that's what we call "influence". Mgla sure has a big influence on Non Est Deus, but Legacy sets itself apart with its different melodious aspects, production, and songwriting style. Well, at least in certain parts of the album; quite few parts at that, frankly. But what does a lack of originality matter when the result is so immensely memorable and entertaining as Legacy? I think you know the answer: it does not.

A more melodic Mgła. Not as good as Mgła, but very good, and possibly the best of the band.

Noise is one of my favourite musicians right now. It doesn't matter if it's Non Est Deus, Kanonenfieber or Leiþa. I think Reue that he released in January (as Leiþa) is a very good album. This album on the other hand is a serious AOTY contender (for me at least) giving Ciemra's The Tread Of Darkness and Hyldr's Order Of The Mist a fight for the top spot at the end of the year so far.

I thought his last album was impressive but this is at a whole new level. Yes definitely Mgla influenced without a shadow of a doubt, but the rhythm and melodies are truly staggering throughout, even if a wee bit repetitive and simplistic, but that's sometimes all it takes for me to become hooked and admire it

Good one even though inspired from another band. Few songs are repetetive in tune.

In the beginning I was made of clay. Then I bit the apple and they changed me to metal 🤘

Didn't know it was just one guy doing everything and it's the same guy from kanonenfieber. A superb album written with awesome lyrical content. A fine example of Mgla worship.

The drumming is the stand-out element of this album, hands down.

Kinda sad that this band only got noticed because of their weakest album, which is basically just a rip-off of Mgła. Yeah, it’s performed well and sounds nice, but all the tracks are the same and feel like a watered-down version of Age of Excuse.

Check out their earlier stuff, especially the first and second albums. They’re way more intense and actually interesting, plus the band had their own vibe back then.
