Second album from Adagio... And what a great one!!

This album, called Underworld, is a fantastic travel and well done mixture between Metal and Classical music. For sure, we know a lot of bands trying to mixed these two influences ; but here, I think it's the right music I was waiting for in secret...

Using classical influences like Bach, Bartok, Paganini, Rachmaninov, Stravinsky and some others combined with metal ones like Megadeth or Symphony x. It's very powerfull...
The musicians are kicking Ass!! Great ones ; the singer David Readman (also Pink Cream 69) is singing in different ways, sometimes quiet with a lower voice, sometimes strong with higher notes and strengh. Stefan Forte, the main composer, gives a lesson in the way of "Technic's working for Melody" and not the opposite mood. This guy understands everything in Symphonic-metal music. From the first song to the last one... Only surprises and emotions. Jazz feeling in "Next Profundis", Epic choral opera in " Underworld" to dark progressive's music much more trashy in "From my sleep...".
By the way, we don't have to forget the maestria of the new member Kevin Godfert (Keyboards) who plays in a complete classical atmosphere with piano stuffs or much more psychedelic electro sounds.

I like the first album "Sanctus Ignis" ... I love this one "Underworld"....

Check it ... it's great!!!

Their most authentic album. The signature symphonic intros are longer than in the other albums, and the tragic tunes are as credible as they come.
