So I had this idea about listing my song picks from my favourite bands. It started out by being just one but I listed three songs when I couldn't just name one. Sounded like a fun musical exercise when I first thought about it but in reality it just shows me it is very difficult to actually pick the songs. (Will update when necessary)

From Dark Tranquillity I would pick : Lethe ( my all time fav) and Tidal Tantrum

And I should add that it's so strange for me that everyone love Lost Control by Anathema, but for it's one of those songs that has been always on my nerve, I can't stand it, but my fav from Anathema ? hmmm my first fav is Shroud Of Frost very beautiful song and then Suicide Veil and J'ai Fait Une Promesse.

Death : Evil Dead, Misanthropy, Empty words , Born Dead
Iron Maiden : Wasted Years, Wrath Child, The Evil That Men Do ( I can't get enough of this one the chorus is amazing ) , Brave New World, Run To The Hills I totally love Iron Maiden
Opeth : Benighted, The Moor, The Apostle In Triumph, Burden, and of course Isolation Years

Arch Enemy : We Will Rise obviously , Leader of the Rats, The Day You Died, Revolution Begins, Web Of Lies

Rotting Christ : Cine iubeşte şi lasă

Nevermore : Inside Four Walls, This Godless Endeavor

J'ai Fait Une Promesse is an amazing song. So, good choice. And so is Shroud of Frost.

For me, Lost Control is very intense and it resonates so much. I just connect to the song in a special way. It is haunting and beautiful at the same time. I have been lucky enough to have seen them play that song live
