Basicaly yes, the level of preference though is represented by the rank. Therion pretty much has no bad album.

I pretty much agree with this.

Why not make this a "best to worst" list instead? At least then you can discuss your opinion with other people.

The way this list is now is indeed pretty pointless.

Well, it's not the first time I missed an essential comment... but it still isn't really clear judged by the title and there's no description either.

It is extremely clear this is a best to worst list since the albums aren't in chronological or alphabetical order.

Compared to my best to worst lists it isn't.

Btw, some people do just randomly list albums in no order whatsoever. I basically thought the same as what Alex said. Naming a list "Favourite Therion Albums" to me implies that the list creator's only features his favourite Therion albums, so not all of them. That coupled with what Alex said and along with me not knowing how many albums this band has released, made me (incorrectly) conclude that this is not a best to worst list.

One of the most adventurous and unique bands in the last 20 years or so!

I certainly agree with a lot of your favourites (I'm only familiar with all post-Theli albums, but I know them really well). Both Secret of the Runes and Vovin are perfect, although if I have to pick an absolute No.1 it would have to be Vovin. Then perhaps surprisingly, Gothic Kabbalah would come 3rd - this album took me the longest to appreciate but its eccentricities have really grown on me!

I can't wait for their next big opera - certainly an often misused word in modern metal, but Therion is one of the very few bands that could actually pull it off!

Please add descriptions - tell us WHY you ordered the albums this way. Bands like Therion are quite interesting and worthy of discussion! Simply posting a list of album titles is indeed pointless, as other have stated.

Yeah, but have you seen his other lists? He has a total of 20 lists like this one...
