My favorite Death Metal band, and one of the most brutal. Nile is the band that introduced me to a more brutal stile of DM, and remains to this day, my favorite of this style of extreme music. Some of their albums are amongst my favorites of all time. Love this band.

	1.	Nile - Annihilation Of The Wicked To me, it is still their greatest achievement. Their compositions on this album are brutal and yet still super melodic. This is the best example of a Brutal Death Metal record done right.
	2.	Nile - Those Whom The Gods Detest A Nile album more focused on the technical side of their sound, but still kipping all of the brutality. Some of the more atmospheric parts could have been longer and more impactful, but this is still an amazing album.
	3.	Nile - In Their Darkened Shrines Intense, brutal, and punishing, In Their Darkened Shrines is the first album to fully implement the true Nile sound. Although not as strong as the following album, it still marks a special place in the Nile cannon.
	4.	Nile - Vile Nilotic Rites My first exposure to Nile and so it holds a special place in my heart. Maybe not as memorable as some of their previous work, but the addition of Kingsland as the new vocalist sure is a strong addition to the band.
