Meloblack with bits and pieces of industrial and progressive metal and a sexy sax that is not just a forced gimmick; along with Jours Pâles' Éclosion and Kanonenfieber's Menschenmühle debut album of the year for me. I simply love the instrumentation and the unusual songwriting, the theme and the artwork, everything fits together extremely well.

This materialized out of thin air, too bad that nobody else seems to have noticed it...

In a year full of very good melodic black metal, this one is among the best. Quite original and inventive for the style.
