I have to say the sound too this album is an absolute beast! Although to me it's too much on the repetitive side, and a wee bit too lengthy. The drumming though is relentless throughout, and the riffs are really heavy, but a wee bit too repetitive, and although this is not really my preferred style, I have huge administration for how much has gone into it, and admittedly I have slightly warmed to the style. I've never really been that into Meshuggah tbh, but after this album I think my original opinion about them may have somewhat changed. Might have to go through their discography again and see if I can warm to them a bit more.

Much too repetitive for my taste. There is a lot going on, but also nothing happening. Similar song structure and vocal work caused me to become bored by the fourth track.

Once I took the time to fully absorb it I absolutely love it!! Such a unique atmosphere that none of their other albums has.
