Good folky vibes, it was surprise to me, still pissed band choose sportify first as bancdamp, otherwise decent folk viking album

This is the first time I've come across this band. Viking themed meloblack often signals a winning combination for me, but unfortunately it hasn't happened for me here. It's very catchy and melodic, the last song especially, but other than that it doesn't really do much else for me. Other than the semi-harsh blackened shrieks I'm not really hearing too much meloblack, it's more a combination of extreme power and melodeath imo, I'd describe it more along the lines of Amon Amarth meets Ensiferum.

I say it has a bit folky elements and only what stands out are viking lyrics, rest to me band might search own sound still
