Sometime first feelings are weird and definitely wrong. I don't know why but when I listened to "Into The Labyrinth" for the first time, I found this album terribly boring and uninspired. Maybe that the problem came from the first song "Battalions Of Steel" which is too epic (strangely I like it a lot now?) but I don't know why I was totally wrong about the new Saxon? The more I listen to it, the more I like it and for sure, the British Heavy Metalers are back to the top with this release!

Yeah! I like it a lot too.

Simply the best album from Saxon's after 90ths. The epic tracks are truly amazing.

Pretty good album that starts with some great rocking songs but then it gets a bit too repetitive for my taste. Well, this is a heavy metal album, what else could I expect?

A bit too many fillers on this one sadly since there's also some really good songs to be found here. Demon Sweeney Todd and Come Rock of Ages are my favourites. The opening Batallions of Steel is good, still I feel it lacks the same impact as other similar Saxon tunes (Crusader, State of Grace etc.)
