This album, released in 1997, is one of my all-time favorites, and is given a spin as often as I have the occasion. For an unknown reason though, it seems to me it has gone largely unnoticed; maybe because during the same era were released Dimmu Borgir's Stormblåst and Enthrone Darkness Triumphant, Satyricon's Nemesis Divina and Emperor's Anthems To The Welkin At Dusk (which all are excellent albums). Why is this album not more known? Great vocals from Pest (If you liked his perfomance on Under the Sign of Hell then you'll like them on this) and great melodies from both guitars and synths. True symphonic/melodic Black Metal. Very very highly recommended.

This is why I like this band pretty old school melodic black metal when genre was new, and also fast sounding sections and keyboard parts are fast as well

Like it but don't love it yet, anything harpsichord is a win and the latter half shines out far more brightly than the first muddle.
